This week A-Z Archive letter is letter T. Letter T, hmm… It’s rather hard. What will I post with it. Well, I really-really want to take photograph of moon. But I never got it right. It just become a tiny spot in the sky after all.
This week photo challenge is rather late isn’t it. Yeah, the late turns out to be a rather hard theme. The theme now is blue. But for a while, seeing the theme, i just want the challenge is rather later. Why is that? Because almost all of my blue collection, namely “the Sea”, are just collected to the continuation of the Beautiful Landscape of Mutun Beach and Tangkil Island – part 1 of 3 : The Coast post, namely “the Coast”. I plan to publish it on Saturday. Hope this week theme will be long enough and cover the Saturday part. Hey, it’s late isn’t it. We must delay the next week theme for compensate the time we lost for this weeks. That way, I will have two submission in this weeks theme. KHekhekhe… For now, I just post what I can. It’s not a great photo but maybe you will enjoy it. I take the photo years ago when I was in high school.
I’ll even reach the sea, the origin of life, defeat it, and eventually meet you on that island. Lampung positioned in Sunda Stait has many amazing beach and water tourism. One of them and maybe one of the most beautiful is Mutun Coast. Compared to another beach tour site, it is relatively new. The beach is clean and white just like powder, but not as soft as it of course :D. It’s virgin and well maintained I can say, not like the tainted beach on Java. I went to the beach in 2007 on our Science Club Activity “Karya Ilmiah Remaja” trip and the photo in this post was all taken at that time. I don’t know what it looks like now but I believe it’s still as beautiful as I set my feet there five years ago. Unfocused is this weekly photo challenge theme. It’s an interesting theme but rather “hard” or maybe confusing I think. Well, never you deliberately take a blurred picture, don’t you. Well, unfocused does not only means blurred. A picture with too much object in it and you actually don’t know what object you want to be featured the most. But that kind of picture is harder than the former and I don’t have that kind of photo at least the interesting one. So I post these four picture instead. Hope you like it.
This week I decide to join A-Z Archive photo challenge held by frizztext. This week’s letter is the letter R. I start the challenge with the picture below. It’s just a picture in my database. A picture taken when my campus reach its 50 anniversary. This is one of the decoration placed inside the campus. A bamboo miniature of rocket (letter R). The rocket signify the hope that we will fly to the sky from now on. You can see the other submission on letter R here.
This week photo challenge is “together”. Yeah, the theme seems is very easy but finding a cool picture to submit to the challenge is not easy. Seeing the theme I only can think a picture about human taking picture together. Yeah everyone have that kind of picture. Together with family, friends, or random stranger. Isn’t it too ordinary? Even though the sample picture on the challenge announcement page suggests something creative, I still can’t think of anything. So in this post, I try my best to compile some photo to meet the challenge. I hope you like one of the picture. It’s all about my campus though. In the picture above, we, approximately 3000 students of 2008 generation of Bandung Institute Technology (Institut Teknologi Bandung – ITB) formed the ITB letter with red and white color represent our county’s, Indonesia’s flag’s color. Pulau Samosir adalah pulau terbesar di tengah danau toba. Sama seperti danau toba, wilayah pulau ini tidak mungkin bisa dijamahi dalam waktu sebentar. Bandar di seberang pantai wisata Parapat adalah desa Tomok. Desa ini hanyalah satu dari desa-desa wisata yang ada pada pulau Samosir tentu saja. Gambar di atas: Peta Samosir pada pelabuhan Tomok Untuk dapat menyeberang ke Tomok dari pantai wisata Parapat, kita harus menggunakan kapal penumpang kecil berukuran 20-30 orang. Terdapat cukup banyak kapal hilir mudik menyediakan jasa penyeberangan atau sekedar berputar-putar di perairan Toba dekat parapat. Penyeberangan memakan waktu 30-45 menit. Ongkos penyeberangan berbeda-beda menurut tanggal. Pada waktu saya menyeberang, tanggal 1 Januari 2011, ongkosnya Rp20.000,- per orang sekali jalan (kalau tidak salah ingat). Ketika menyeberang, kita tidak langsung dibawa ke pelabuhan kecil di Tomok. Kapal akan berputar haluan sebentar untuk memanjakan penumpang dengan suasana danau. Selain itu, kapal akan mengunjungi sebuah tebing batu gantung. Ya, di tebing ini terdapat batu seukuruan satu meter berbentuk manusia. Batu ini bergantung di sisi bawah tebing yang menjorok ke danau.
