Weekly Photo Challenge: Sun | and Climbing Photographers

The Sun behind Line Cables

The Sun behind Line Cables

Today, I and my friend Sidik tried to make a time lapse video. What is time lapse video you say? Just watch some video on top of my blog, that is time lapse video. We try to make time lapse video of  Car Free Day on Juanda Street, Bandung. We failed. When we started, suddenly our camera got condensed. The image blurred then. Other than that, maybe our first spot is not good. It’s just too few people there. So after half hour we tried to find another spot. We found a great spot in front of SMA N 1 Bandung, on the overpass. It has great view there. Many photographers reside there when we arrived.

Well, it was our first time to make time lapse video. We just amateur that don’t  have a camera or tripod after all. That camera before is borrowed from friend and we tied the camera to some pillar in the middle of street to get the image stable. Furthermore, we don’t even google  “how to make time lapse video” at all. But we got  some sequence picture that can be made into 20 seconds time lapse video. Maybe sometime I will make the video from it. We also got some nice picture there. Some picture maybe befit to this week’s photo challenge. A picture with fellow photo hunters in it.

  15. Albadr, wow, interesting challenge entries here. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment . I really appreciate it! Off to see what else you are up to. Margie

    • Thanks for visiting Amar. Yours’ nice too… Taking the picture in reflection is good idea. I like the first and forth picture most.
Yeah, it’s dangerous not only the wires but also the stair. It’s 3 meters high half meter wide and don’t have safety handrails whatsoever. But i think it’s fine as long we don’t touch the wire and have a good balance :D.

      • Amar Naik says

good balance 😛 thanks for stopping on my blog

    • Thank you very much. We just happened to sit there when this picture was taken though. I was also surprised I could get these nice picture.

    • Thanks. When taking the first photo, i didn’t know it will be this interesting and then I waited for some photographer to pass that stair and get the second and third. Ans surprisingly, maybe i was just lucky back then, I got a nice composed photo.

    • Thank you very much, i love your photo too. The front car glasses just like an effect applied to the photo. But still real. Nice job. I hope i have a chance to go to Serengeti someday.

      • Thanks for the visit, Albadr. I hope you can take that tripl, too. It is a wonderful adventure! Worth every penny.

  16. I like the last one. Good and cool silhouette… 😀
Let’s try again another time with the best tools (camera, tripod, intervalometer, etc). We don’t want to lose the other photographs in there, don’t we?
